Job Responsibility
Strategic leadership and operational management
Acting as the strategic leader of resort operations and as General Manager in their absence
Overseeing key areas: Finance, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Kitchen, Engineering, Spa & Recreation, Sales & Marketing, and Human Resources
Defining and implementing operational strategies aligned with the brand's objectives
Ensuring service excellence and full alignment with The Ritz-Carlton standards
Driving the resort's profitability, ensuring budgets and financial targets are achieved
Analyzing financial reports and making strategic decisions to optimize performance
Managing operational costs, productivity, and margins without compromising the guest experience
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and revenue growth
Ensuring all operations contribute to a consistent and exceptional guest experience
Maintaining a visible presence in the resort, engaging with guests and gathering feedback
Driving innovation in services and experiences
Leading, inspiring, and developing the Executive Committee and department heads
Building a culture of collaboration, high performance, and engagement
Ensuring a fair, inclusive, and motivating work environment
Actively participating in talent selection, evaluation, and development
Fostering employee commitment to service excellence
Implementing an 'open door' policy and improving employee satisfaction
Evaluating performance and supporting team members' professional growth
Acting as an ambassador of the brand's values and culture
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
Proven experience in senior operational leadership roles within luxury hotels or resorts
Strategic mindset combined with strong attention to operational detail
Strong analytical skills and financial management expertise
Inspiring leadership style with the ability to influence and develop teams
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Guest-focused mindset and passion for service excellence
Experience working in dynamic and multicultural environments
Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus)
Valid work permit for Spain
