Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality or resort sector
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related technical field
Proven experience in managing a team and coordinating maintenance operations in a high-standard environment
Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory compliance requirements
Strong knowledge of technical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and fire safety
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed

Job Responsibility

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive maintenance schedule, including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs
Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of the maintenance team, providing guidance, support, and training where necessary
Conduct regular inspections of all resort facilities (guest rooms, public areas, technical spaces, etc.) to identify and address any maintenance issues
Ensure that all maintenance work complies with internal quality standards and legal health & safety regulations
Liaise effectively with other departments (housekeeping, front office, food & beverage) to respond to and resolve maintenance requests promptly
Manage and monitor the inventory of maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper upkeep
Collaborate with external contractors, technicians, and service providers, maintaining cost-effective and high-quality relationships
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Report directly to the Hotel Manager and actively participate in team meetings and operational planning

Knowledge of water safety and pool operations
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
