Resort Controller

• Set up the sales database at the start of the season and maintain it throughout
• assist with the training of resort staff on accounts and bookings processes
• make the bookings through suppliers’ web pages
• assist and manage the local sales in transfer day
• liaise with resort staff to confirm weekly customer bookings
• work through variances
• assist the accounts processing team with reconciling invoices for payment
• assist with credit card payment issues
• maintain excellent supplier and colleague relationships and respond to their queries quickly and efficiently.

• Fluent in verbal and written English
• additional European languages like Spanish or French are advantageous
• have an open, friendly & collaborative approach
• ability to quickly build trust with both colleagues and suppliers
• strong communication skills
• comfortable explaining detailed processes to others in a simplistic way, using a variety of media
• manage your time effectively
• high attention to detail
• always produce work to an excellent standard
• self-motivated and able to work on your own
• decision-making and taking the initiative comes naturally to you
• love detail and work methodically to get things done thoroughly and within specified deadlines
• tech savvy with a digital attitude
• confident working with Outlook, Word, and especially with Excel
• highly numeric, preferably with accounts experience
• don’t need to have a driving licence.
