Would you like the opportunity to work in a beautiful outdoor setting? Located just 15 minutes north of Santa Barbara , California or 20 minutes south of Buellton, California, El Capitan Canyon Resort may have the opportunity you have been seeking.  We offer a luxury glamping environment on 300 acres in a stunning natural environment.  As a Resort Ambassador at El Capitan Canyon Resort, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team who help provide a world class guest experience while playing an important role in maintaining the integrity and security of the resort.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet all visitors, vendors, and contractors directing them to their destinations
  • Obtain names and information from our guests entering the resort
  • Answer the telephone courteously and relay information provided to the appropriate channels
  • Receiving and tracking of packages and mail for resort operations
  • Note and report unusual occurrences
  • Assist with noise complaints, parking issues or other security responsibilities as needed
  • Drive the canyon regularly to escort guests, or delivering provisions to our guests in their designated cabins
  • Monitor the resort noting any deficiencies, or maintenance issues requiring attention
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Education
  • Ability to read maps
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet

  • Assist in the management of visitors to the resort of Cleethorpes, encouraging safe use of the resort’s beaches and open spaces
  • Encourage appreciation, enjoyment and safe use of the resort’s beaches, open spaces and facilities by residents and visitors by engaging with people
  • Offer advice and respond to service requests related to a wide range of community and environmental issues including local environmental protection, environmental crime and other matters affecting the street scene and amenities of our communities by linking in with other Council services
  • Act as the ears and eyes in the community by being a front facing service including walking, greeting, and talking with visitors in the resort
