The ideal candidate will possess the listed requirements and work as a Resistant Materials Teacher in Bridgwater. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons within a DT/workshop environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Resistant Materials (RM) within a secondary or middle school setting
Strong subject knowledge in Resistant Materials, including practical workshop-based teaching
A clear understanding of health and safety procedures within a DT/workshop environment
The ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills, working confidently with pupils, colleagues, and parents
