This role shall provide technical expertise to the radio access network in areas of resilience specifically power. This role will play a pivotal part ensuring power solutions are delivered correctly and maintained effectively. This role will be directly responsible for design and acceptance definition and supporting the service management team with supplier engagement. You will be required to undergo National Security Vetting to SC or NPPV level.
Job Responsibility:
Collaboratively lead for design definition and documentation on AC/DC and battery power solutions within the RAN
Definition and gate keep acceptance of power solutions into the RAN referencing site designs and stakeholder interaction
Build and develop relationships with internal & external stakeholders to ensure successful operational performance inline with ESN goals
Operations technical interface with ESN vendors, building strategic relationships and handling investigations and escalations
Accountability for driving improvement and exceptional performance on ESN Critical National Infrastructure workstreams
Represent ESN operations in supporting RFP tenders for new services/solutions and scope definition
Proactively establish and develop internal and external relationships to achieve ESN performance & development goals
Requirements:
Must have AC and DC electrical knowledge and expertise in site design related to RAN
Experience with radio networks and understanding how power resilience fits into the wider RAN is required
Proven experience in supplier management and working with internal and external stakeholders
Technical documentation skills are preferred but not mandatory
