Job Description

Citi is looking for a Resilience Risk Lead Analyst to play a pivotal second-line role in protecting the firm's operational stability, financial integrity, and long-term viability. In this position, you will oversee and challenge the frameworks, controls, and governance processes that enable Citi to prevent, adapt to, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions across critical business services, technology infrastructure, and external dependencies. Your work will directly shape how one of the world's leading financial institutions manages its most critical resilience risks.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide strategic oversight for the design and implementation of operational risk and resilience frameworks
  • Drive the consistent identification, measurement, and management of material and emerging resilience risks
  • Assess risks to critical business services, including vulnerabilities across people, processes, technology, and external dependencies
  • Oversee and challenge risk identification, control design, and the effectiveness of resilience capabilities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of incident response, crisis management, and recovery strategies through rigorous testing
  • Challenge and support severe-but-plausible scenario analysis and stress testing exercises
  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting on resilience posture, emerging risks, and control gaps to senior leadership
  • Foster a holistic view of service continuity by integrating technology, operations, and third-party dependency risks

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Operational Resilience, or a related discipline
  • Project management abilities are highly desirable
  • Internal Audit exposure would be a plus
  • Strong understanding of enterprise resilience frameworks, including business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Experience assessing technology resilience, particularly in cloud environments and digital service delivery
  • Familiarity with global regulatory expectations related to operational resilience and outsourcing
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and risk assessment capabilities
  • Proven ability to identify systemic risk themes and root causes beyond single incidents
