Job Description:

The key objective of this role is to provide well-founded and detailed residential valuation reports for our range of clients. The successful candidate/s will work within a valuation team that takes pride in excellent customer service and operates in a wide field of property classes for a range of clients in the private sector and banking industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Attend property/site inspections, prepare research and sales evidence and prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports
  • Research current market activity and analyse comparable sales and leasing data for use in the preparation of valuations and market monitoring
  • Exercise the highest level of risk management and professional conduct
  • Build effective business relationships with staff and clients
  • Utilise mobile technology for field inspections
  • Maintain all required professional memberships and registrations including required CPD

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Understanding of valuation principles
  • Effective people skills
  • Technical expertise in using modern data collection systems
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • A current driver’s licence and access to a suitable motor vehicle or willing to have a vehicle provided as part of a competitive salary package
  • Strong numerical analysis and problem solving capabilities
  • The ability to work within tight timelines and under pressure
  • The ability to understand valuation principles and methods and their correct application
