Job Description:

An immediate opportunity has arisen to work within a leading residential team for one of the UKs specialist property consultancies based in their London office. The Residential Investment & Development team has grown due to ongoing client wins and the team are looking to recruit either a Surveyor or recently promoted Senior Surveyor in to the team. You will be working as part of a team that advises Registered Providers to premium schemes in central London. A large majority of the focus will be on developments, providing valuation advice to lenders, equity and developers but also to value operating assets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing Valuation Advisory services – including residual appraisals / GDVs / Trading Valuations and C3 Residential development valuations
  • Valuing BTR Developments and advising on alternative living rentals
  • Preparing and issuing reports to advise on value – including valuations for developments, investments, financial reporting, acquisition and viability
  • The role will require competence in residual appraisals, detailed cash flow analysis and excellent report writing skills
  • Working across the Residential Development and Alternative living teams

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified with valuation advisory experience – ideally RICS registered Valuer status
  • Exposure within any of the following markets - Residential / Residential Development / PBSA / BTR / Alternative living
  • Analytical approach with attention to detail and a good work ethic
  • Proficient with Argus Developer, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Interest in the seniors housing sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of the real estate market
