Job Responsibility:
Providing high-quality daily care and support to children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Difficulties
Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour with patience and professional techniques
Assisting with educational goals, life skills, and community outings
Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
Collaborating with social workers, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 months of direct experience working within a Children's Residential Home setting
Right to Work in the UK
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Resilience and experience supporting young people with EBD and complex needs
Nice to have:
Enhanced DBS (Children & Adults) currently registered on the Update Service
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Full UK Driving License
