Job Description:

Randstad UK CPE team is looking to onboard an experienced Site Manager to join a leading residential developer/main contractor on a multi-phased new-build residential scheme in Banbury. The project involves delivering a mix of traditional build houses and apartments from groundworks to handover. This is a potential long-term contract role, reporting to a Contracts Manager/Project Manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Effectively manage sub-contractors, direct labour, and site resources
  • Enforce and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance (HSE) on site
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections
  • Manage quality control, carry out plot inspections, and ensure a high standard of finish is achieved, ready for handover
  • Liaise effectively with the Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and external stakeholders (e.g., NHBCE)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager on residential new-build projects
  • Proven track record of taking residential phases from groundworks to completion/handover
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work certification
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
