Job Responsibility:
Expertly perform a full range of residential plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations across all residential systems
Diagnose issues with pinpoint accuracy across all plumbing systems, including fixtures, water piping, drainage, and hot water heaters
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and efficiently troubleshoot urgent plumbing problems
Provide transparent estimates and clearly communicate service recommendations to customers
Ensure compliance with all local and state plumbing codes and safety regulations on every job
Maintain company tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working order at all times
Accurately record work performed and materials used for all jobs via company systems
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a residential Service Plumber
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
Proficiency with all standard plumbing tools, equipment, methods, and codes
High accountability, possess a low ego, be coachable, and maintain a strong communicator approach
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting equipment, kneeling, and working safely in confined spaces
Possesses the basic set of hand tools required for a professional Service Plumber role
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License required
Must maintain a clean driving record
Must be a team player with an upbeat/positive attitude
Nice to have:
Trade school or plumbing certification preferred
Prior Nexstar training is a huge plus
