Job Description

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a well-established and highly respected Upstate South Carolina law firm to identify a Residential Real Estate Paralegal for a newly created, full-time, on-site role in downtown Anderson, SC.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage high-volume residential real estate files (10–15+ files per week
  • busy season volume is significant)
  • Prepare and review closing documents in compliance with South Carolina requirements
  • Read, analyze, and resolve title issues and commitments with strong attention to detail
  • Communicate daily with front office, reception, pre-closers, closing assistants, and title department
  • Maintain ownership of your files from start to finish—anticipating issues and resolving them efficiently
  • Utilize modern closing technology, including Outlook & Microsoft Office, e-signatures, wire platforms, and closing software
  • Support days with multiple scheduled closings in a collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • Prior residential real estate paralegal experience required
  • Strong title work knowledge is critical
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently after a short training period
  • Tech-savvy and open to evolving tools (including AI-driven solutions)
  • Team-oriented mindset
