Jameson Legal is working with a well-regarded boutique property law firm in East London that is seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with at least four years’ experience in residential property to take on a varied and high-quality caseload within a close-knit, collaborative environment. The firm has a strong London-centric client base built over more than two decades and offers a culture that values quality of work, client care, and professional integrity over volume. This role offers a genuine opportunity for progression.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise on a broad range of residential property matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Drafting and negotiating residential leases
  • Secured lending
  • Landlord and tenant/management work
  • Managing own files with autonomy
  • Contributing to the wider growth and development of the team
  • Potential involvement in mentoring junior colleagues and client development

Requirements

  • At least four years’ experience in residential property
  • Solid technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, client-focused approach
  • Qualified solicitor preferred
  • Experienced conveyancers and non-qualified lawyers with relevant expertise will also be considered
