Job Description

We are seeking a bright and motivated 1-2 PQE Associate to join a highly regarded Real Estate team based in central London. The team advises on a broad range of residential property matters, including high-value sales and purchases, secured lending on behalf of private banks, and a variety of landlord and tenant issues. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-end transactions and build your experience within a supportive, collegial environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Acting on sales and purchases of high-value residential properties, typically between £1.5m and £45m
  • Handling secured lending transactions for private banks
  • Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including drafting and negotiating leases, lease extensions, deeds of variation, and licences
  • Supporting other residential property work, including property finance matters, as required
  • Take responsibility, under supervision, for your own files and manage client work in line with professional standards and quality procedures
  • Direct client contact is expected, including high-net-worth and international clients
  • Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives and to build expertise in your area of practice

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with strong academic credentials
  • At least six months’ experience during a training contract plus a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in a residential property team
  • Excellent case management skills with the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously and with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service, particularly for HNW and UHNW individuals
  • Strong organisational skills, effective communicator, and able to build credibility and trust with colleagues and clients
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive, with a positive approach to work and learning
  • Comfortable with personal time recording, billing, and meeting deadlines

Nice to have

Experience in secured lending is advantageous but not essential
