We are seeking a bright and motivated 1-2 PQE Associate to join a highly regarded Real Estate team based in central London. The team advises on a broad range of residential property matters, including high-value sales and purchases, secured lending on behalf of private banks, and a variety of landlord and tenant issues. Job Responsibility:
Acting on sales and purchases of high-value residential properties, typically between £1.5m and £45m
Handling secured lending transactions for private banks
Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including drafting and negotiating leases, lease extensions, deeds of variation, and licences
Supporting other residential property work, including property finance matters, as required
Take responsibility, under supervision, for your own files and manage client work in line with professional standards and quality procedures
Direct client contact is expected, including high-net-worth and international clients
Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives and to build expertise in your area of practice
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with strong academic credentials
At least six months’ experience during a training contract plus a minimum of one year post-qualification experience in a residential property team
Excellent case management skills with the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously and with meticulous attention to detail
Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service, particularly for HNW and UHNW individuals
Strong organisational skills, effective communicator, and able to build credibility and trust with colleagues and clients
Energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive, with a positive approach to work and learning
Comfortable with personal time recording, billing, and meeting deadlines
Nice to have:
Experience in secured lending is advantageous but not essential
