We are seeking a skilled Residential Project Plumber with strong experience in residential remodeling and new construction, specializing in high-end and custom home projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and can manage plumbing installations from rough-in through final trim with precision. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) with no on-call requirements, making it a great fit for plumbers seeking work-life balance while working on premium residential projects.
Job Responsibility:
Install, assemble, and maintain residential plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewer piping for remodels and new construction
Perform rough-in and underground work, including trenching, pipe installation, and system layout according to project specifications
Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipes using hand and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections
Install and support plumbing components such as valves, fixtures, hangers, brackets, pumps, and related system parts
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing issues including leaks, damaged pipes, clogged drains, and malfunctioning fixtures or appliances
Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise plumbing layouts and ensure project accuracy
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and meet construction timelines
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and quality expectations
Assist with material selection, job site preparation, and maintaining organized work areas
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in residential plumbing, with a strong focus on remodeling and new construction
Experience working on custom or high-end residential homes preferred
Ability to independently manage plumbing work from rough-in through final trim
Solid understanding of residential plumbing systems, installation methods, and local codes
Plumbing license not required, but considered a plus
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions in the field
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Physical capability to perform job duties, including: Lifting and moving heavy tools, materials, and fixtures
Working in physically demanding positions (standing, crouching, kneeling) for extended periods
Handling the day-to-day physical demands of construction environments
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining professionalism on job sites
