Job Description

The Registered Manager will maintain full oversight of the day to day operational aspects of the home and the following: To take lead responsibility for running and management of the home. The Registered Manager will be required to take a lead in creating a positive culture of love led practice within the staff team. To build and maintain good relationships with the local community and the wider team of professionals. To create a warm, homely, caring environment within the home whilst considering the views of the children and taking into account their needs. To ensure the highest standards of care are delivered and maintain robust monitoring systems to review this.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Must have or be willing to work towards a level 5 diploma in Health and Social care, Leadership and Management
  • 3 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting is essential
  • Adults and Children's DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential
  • Ideally have a proven track record with Ofsted and good outcomes for children
