Job Description:

Working within a busy and collaborative Residential Lettings team, we are looking for a professional, personable and motivated person to join our team as a Lettings Negotiator. The successful candidate will be expected to work at the highest standard and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service to both tenants and landlords.

Job Responsibility:

  • Speaking with potential tenants, assessing what their exact needs and requirements are and building rapport
  • Promoting properties
  • Arranging and overseeing viewings of properties for potential tenants
  • Speaking with landlords and other parties involved in the rental
  • Answering queries from clients and potential clients via email, telephone
  • Negotiating between property owners and potential tenants to find a mutually beneficial agreement
  • Explaining the tenancy applications, referencing/progressing of application, arranging signing of agreements
  • Organising the payment of money due
  • Troubleshooting when problems arise
  • Keeping administrative systems up to date
  • Adhering to the relevant guidelines set by law at all times

Requirements:

  • At least two year’s industry experience
  • Up to date with trends in the local residential lettings market
  • Customer/client management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organised

  • Work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player
  • Confident
