We are seeking an expert with a required Connecticut P-2 license to provide top-tier diagnostics, deliver superior repairs, and mentor junior technicians. In your role as the Residential Lead Plumber, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of residential plumbing systems. You will lead by example in the field, ensuring all service work meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and code compliance.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and execute advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on all residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, drain cleaning, re-piping, and sewer lines
  • Act as the senior technical resource on the service team, providing expert guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians during complex service calls
  • Ensure all service work adheres strictly to local plumbing codes, industry standards, and safety protocols
  • Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining system issues, repair options, and upgrade solutions to homeowners
  • Utilize company-provided iPad and smartphone for efficient service documentation, work order management, and professional communication
  • Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked, organized, and properly maintained
  • Complete all service-related paperwork accurately and promptly, including closeout documents and detailed reports

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in residential service plumbing and repair
  • P-2 (Plumbing and Piping Limited) License is REQUIRED
  • Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of jobs, providing high-level diagnostics, and leadership or mentoring
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, including water, waste, and vent systems
  • Proficiency with technology, including using an iPad and company smartphone for daily job management
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
