Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Assessing, this position is a fieldwork role responsible for conducting assigned inspections and performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks related to the valuation of residential property, in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws.

Requirements:

  • Two-year college degree in business, public administration, accounting, or a related field (preferred)

  • A valid Class C driver’s license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is required at the time of filing
  • Upon appointment, a Building Mechanical Inspector will be required to furnish an automobile, properly insured, for use in City service
