Job Description

Are you a skilled residential conveyancer looking for a rewarding temporary role? Our client is seeking a dedicated Residential Fee Earner to manage property transactions from 30th March to 10th April 2026. Job Responsibility

  • Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong technical knowledge
  • Oversee the full conveyancing process from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Utilise Leap as the case management system to streamline operations
  • Work alongside administrative support to ensure efficient handling of administrative tasks

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedure, land registry processes, and due diligence/property searches
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and land registry applications
  • Effective case management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines, handle multi-matter workloads, and maintain accurate file records
  • Solid grasp of compliance and regulatory requirements to ensure all transactions meet legal and firm standards
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex legal issues to clients
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail, particularly in drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during transactions
  • Comfortable with case management systems/conveyancing software (Leap)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite for document creation and management
