Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Residential Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in our Oxford office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical knowledge who is ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking company. You will be working alongside and learning from our current Residential Electrical Estimator. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for residential electrical installations, refurbishments, maintenance works, and renewable technologies. The role is ideal for someone with practical on-site experience who is now looking to develop their commercial, planning, and estimating skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Produce accurate estimates and quotations for residential electrical projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure realistic and competitive pricing
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain up-to-date material and equipment costs
  • Identify labour, materials, and time requirements for each project
  • Build strong client relationships and support the preparation of bid submissions
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Electrical experience is essential (domestic/residential preferred)
  • Understanding of electrical installations, materials, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • experience with estimating software beneficial but not essential
