The ACCS Residential Director is a dynamic role combining administrative and leadership duties to ensure the smooth operation of community-based residential sites for adults with mental illness and substance use issues. This position requires strong knowledge of clinical programming and involves managing staff, ensuring quality service delivery, maintaining the physical environment, budgeting, and complying with DMH licensing regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide consultation on effective rehabilitative strategies, and foster strong internal and external relationships. The Rotating Residential Director will cover one or more Aspire Residential sites, stepping in for other Residential Directors during their leave and when there is a vacancy.
Job Responsibility:
Combining administrative and leadership duties to ensure the smooth operation of community-based residential sites for adults with mental illness and substance use issues
Managing staff, ensuring quality service delivery, maintaining the physical environment, budgeting, and complying with DMH licensing regulations
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
Providing consultation on effective rehabilitative strategies
Fostering strong internal and external relationships
Covering one or more Aspire Residential sites, stepping in for other Residential Directors during their leave and when there is a vacancy
On-call responsibilities for designated site(s) throughout the week and alternating weekends
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
Valid driver’s license in good standing, driving experience, and a solid driving record are required. Access to a personal vehicle is essential
CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications will be required
2+ years of supervisory experience in human services, with knowledge of community-based treatment, funding sources, and treatment regulations
A flexible team player who can lead and motivate staff
eager to grow and learn in this role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
Strong computer skills and the ability to use an electronic health record system for clinical documentation are required
Nice to have:
Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations are highly desirable
