Residential Director

• Combining administrative and leadership duties to ensure the smooth operation of community-based residential sites for adults with mental illness and substance use issues
• Managing staff, ensuring quality service delivery, maintaining the physical environment, budgeting, and complying with DMH licensing regulations
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Providing consultation on effective rehabilitative strategies
• Fostering strong internal and external relationships
• Covering one or more Aspire Residential sites, stepping in for other Residential Directors during their leave and when there is a vacancy
• On-call responsibilities for designated site(s) throughout the week and alternating weekends

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
• Valid driver’s license in good standing, driving experience, and a solid driving record are required. Access to a personal vehicle is essential
• CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications will be required
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in human services, with knowledge of community-based treatment, funding sources, and treatment regulations
• A flexible team player who can lead and motivate staff
• eager to grow and learn in this role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Strong computer skills and the ability to use an electronic health record system for clinical documentation are required

Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations are highly desirable
