This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or ambitious Senior to step into a fully supernumerary leadership role, working closely with the Home Manager to drive improvements across quality, compliance, and overall service delivery. The home is currently in a period of transition, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in environments where they can add structure, embed best practice, and positively influence team culture.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operational leadership of the service
Lead on CQC compliance, audits, and governance processes
Oversee and improve care planning, risk assessments, and documentation standards
Drive quality improvements across care delivery and resident experience
Supervise, mentor, and develop the staff team to ensure high performance
Support with rota management, staffing, and performance management
Act as Deputy in the absence of the Home Manager, including on-call duties
Play a key role in preparing the service for future CQC inspections
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior within elderly care
Strong understanding of CQC regulations, audits, and compliance
Experience within residential and/or dementia care settings
Confident in leading teams, managing performance, and driving change
Organised, resilient, and passionate about delivering high-quality care
