Job Description:

An established and growing law firm in Hove is seeking a talented Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its team. The role involves managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, providing expert guidance to clients, and contributing to the growth of the conveyancing department. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ PQE, strong client care skills, and a proactive approach.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds and shared ownership, lease extensions and re-mortgages
  • Provide expert legal guidance to clients from instruction through to completion
  • Liaise effectively with estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals
  • Ensure all matters are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and care
  • Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the conveyancing department

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer (CLC), or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx)
  • Confident managing files from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Detail-oriented, with a proactive and professional approach
