Job Description:

Douglas Scott is recruiting for a dedicated and experienced solicitor, legal executive, or licensed conveyancer. The role involves handling residential conveyancing for high-value transactions within a financial services business. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract role with a reduced part-time working week and a hybrid work setup.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a client caseload independently with confidence and maintain a positive client experience including timeframe expectations
Ensuring all documentation and processes are completed accurately, including SDLT and Land registry
Working directly with clients in a professional manner.

Requirements:

Proven experience in residential conveyancing, with a solid understanding of the processes and requirements involved
Managing a client caseload independently with confidence and maintain a positive client experience including timeframe expectations
A meticulous approach to work, ensuring all documentation and processes are completed accurately, including SDLT and Land registry
Highly motivated and able to work independently, taking initiative to resolve issues and complete tasks without supervision
Minimum of 3 years PQE if a property solicitor or legal executive and 5 years PQE if a licensed conveyancer with experience of dealing with HNW and UHNW individuals and high value transactions
Must have an experience with residential leases, licenses, and tenancies
Experience of all aspects of residential property transactions such as sales, purchases, and secured lending, for both freehold and leasehold properties
Have worked with clients independently in other roles.
