Job Responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and re-mortgages
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents
  • Conduct title checks and resolve any related issues
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties as required
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate records and case management systems
  • Support colleagues and provide input on complex cases as needed

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in Scotland with 3+ years PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Strong knowledge of property law and relevant legal regulations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions effectively
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication and client service abilities
  • Proficiency in using case management software and legal research tools
