Residential Conveyancer

• Running a diverse residential caseload from instruction to post-completion with minimal supervision
• Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, leaseholds, freeholds, remortgages, new builds, and transfers of equity
• Handling more complex matters where required, including lease extensions, unregistered titles, right-to-buy, and shared ownership schemes
• Communicating clearly with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure timely and effective progression of transactions
• Drafting legal documentation, reviewing title documents, raising and responding to enquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Keeping accurate and current file notes using the firm’s case management system
• Providing an excellent level of service, tailored to each client’s individual needs, to foster trust and long-standing relationships

• At least 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, ideally gained in a high-street or regional firm
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to handle a full caseload independently
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively
• Exceptional communication skills and a client-centric approach
• A team player who contributes positively to a collaborative environment
• Comfortable using case management systems and working flexibly in a hybrid setting
