Job Description:

A well-established law firm in Hertford is seeking a Residential & Commercial Property Paralegal to support a Partner within their busy property department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with prior property experience to join a friendly and professional team. The successful Paralegal will work closely with a Partner, assisting on a range of residential and commercial property matters while helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting the Partner with a variety of residential and commercial conveyancing matters
  • Preparing legal documentation, contracts and correspondence
  • Opening and managing client files, ensuring compliance procedures are followed
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties
  • Conducting property searches and preparing reports
  • Supporting with exchange and completion processes
  • General administrative support within the property department

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a residential or commercial property paralegal role is essential
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and professional approach to supporting a senior fee earner
