Your goal is simple but vital: to provide stability, guidance, and a 'home away from home' while helping them develop the skills they need for a bright future.
Job Responsibility:
Daily Support: Helping with morning routines, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, welcoming home environment
Emotional Advocacy: Building trusting relationships and providing a listening ear during challenging moments
Community Engagement: Accompanying young people to school, appointments, and social activities
Reporting: Maintaining accurate daily logs and incident reports to ensure the highest standard of care
Requirements:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 6-12 months experience working with children or young people (preferably in a residential or social care setting)
Driving License: You must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to drive the house vehicle for shifts and activities
Resilience: The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviors with professional composure
Flexibility: Willingness to work a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
