We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and motivated Children’s Home Manager to join our Empower Family Group. This is a new opportunity as we are growing and have obtained our first home in Devon. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills, high levels of professionalism, and a genuine commitment to delivering the very best outcomes for children and young people. You will play a key role in leading shifts, supporting and developing staff, and promoting a nurturing, therapeutic environment where young people feel safe, valued, and able to flourish. We’re looking for someone who is resilient, fun, and outgoing, with a natural ability to inspire others and build positive, trusting relationships. You’ll champion teamwork, togetherness, and collaboration, working in partnership with professionals, colleagues, and young people to create a home that radiates warmth, stability, and opportunity. The role: To be responsible for the overall management of the children's home in line with Ofsted’s regulations; delivering the home’s statement of purpose and managing and supporting the team to achieve the same. To provide high quality person-centred care services that is personalised and supports the needs of the children and young people, to be an advocate for their well-being and to provide strong, motivational leadership to staff. You will already have excellent standards of person-centred care and will develop your skillset with the aim of improving innovation and creative care in your home and teams. You will strive to ensure that the young people feel loved, nurtured, and aspire to reach their potential.
