Job Description:

Temporary contract opportunities within a premier private residential school in Perth. This service supports children and young people aged 5 to 18 with complex needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and emotional behavioural difficulties. The role is to enhance both their learning and living experiences, providing the stability they need to develop their unique personalities and life skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working effectively as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team
  • Supporting the diverse social and educational needs of the children
  • Accompanying service users between residential units and the classroom
  • Co-ordinating closely with teachers and the wider care team
  • Maintaining a professional manner and upholding National Care Standards
  • Working a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a care setting with young people
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Registered (or willing to register) under the PVG scheme
  • Full UK driving licence
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent
