Our client, a specialist provider of high-acuity children's services, is seeking experienced practitioners to join their established team in Castle Douglas. This is an opportunity to use your professional maturity to provide stability and care for young people navigating complex social and emotional trauma. Financial Foundation: Base salary of £25,642.50 to £26,032.50. Enhanced Earnings: £67.50 per sleep-in (average 10 per month), adding over £8,000 to your annual income. Premium Perks: £500 welcome bonus and an unlimited £1,000 'Refer a Friend' scheme. Total Support: 24/7 helpline and hardship grants via a dedicated foundation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-standard, 24-hour support within a nurturing, homely environment
  • Guide young people through daily routines, acting as a consistent, calming presence
  • Navigate sessions involving early trauma or EBD with professional poise
  • Maintain precise digital records in accordance with National Care Standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a residential setting with vulnerable youth is essential
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence is required
  • Must pass an enhanced PVG check and provide a two-year reference history
