Job Description

Florinee Homes Ltd is opening a brand new residential children’s home in Moulton Seas End, and we are building a new, dedicated staff team to help shape the culture and standards from day one. We are looking for experienced Residential Childcare Workers who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a real difference in young people’s lives.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide consistent, child-centred care and support
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment
  • Implement care plans and support children’s emotional and developmental needs
  • Work closely with the wider team and external professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and promote safeguarding and children’s rights
  • Manage challenging behaviour using positive and trauma-informed approaches

Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential childcare or a related care setting is highly desirable
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare / Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Enhanced DBS required
