Job Description

We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and committed Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated team. Rodenhurst provides a nurturing, structured environment where staff work closely together to support pupils both academically and emotionally. The LSA role involves supporting these young people with their education and enabling them to be the best they can be and supporting them to discover and achieve towards their future aspirations.

Job Responsibility

  • Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored learning activities
  • Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and social development through therapeutic approaches
  • Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving personalised targets
  • Build trusting relationships and provide consistent, empathetic responses to behaviour
  • Help maintain a safe, calm, and engaging classroom environment

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • A nurturing, patient, and emotionally intelligent approach
  • A team player who values collaboration and reflection
  • Passionate about inclusive education and committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
