Job Description:

Work in a role that makes a positive difference to young people’s lives, with experts who can develop and support you. Our support workers are responsible for providing care and support to young people who are living in our residential homes.

Requirements:

  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people
  • Providing a nurturing and stable environment for children who may have experienced instability and disruptions in their lives
  • Encouraging the development of social skills and positive relationships among the children in their care
  • Helping with day-to-day tasks such as homework and household chores
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to provide the best possible care for young people
  • Ensuring that the residential care setting is clean, safe, and appropriate for young people’s needs
  • Requires a great deal of compassion, patience, and empathy
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
