Job Responsibility:
Expert Care Delivery: Provide high-standard, 24-hour support to young people in a specialist three-bed home, ensuring a stable and warm environment
Clinical and Emotional Support: Act as a positive role model and patient listener for service users dealing with early-life trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD)
Foster Independence: Guide young people through daily routines, educational attendance, and community activities to prepare them for their next life stages
Digital Oversight: Confidently manage and update electronic care recording systems to ensure meticulous welfare monitoring and reporting
Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside a dedicated team to maintain a safe space for expression, maintaining clear professional boundaries at all times.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: A strong background in residential childcare or working with young people with complex needs is essential
Character: You are a patient, warm, and proactive professional focused on achieving positive outcomes for those in your care
Technical Proficiency: Experience with digital reporting platforms and a high standard of written communication
Compliance: Successful candidates must be registered (or willing to register) with the PVG scheme and provide a comprehensive reference history.
