Job Responsibility:
Provide day-to-day care and support to young people aged 14-17, helping them work through challenges related to trauma and anxiety.
Maintain accurate records in accordance with legislation and trust policies.
Participate in a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with social workers and other professionals to create and implement care plans.
Ensure the safety and well-being of young people, managing crises and maintaining environmental safety.
Model best practice and uphold the highest standards of care.
Support and mentor young people to promote their personal growth and development.
Requirements:
A degree, HNC/HND, or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant care-related subject
1-3 years of experience working with young people in a residential setting (depending on your qualification).
NISCC registration
Must be able to work night shifts
Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
