Job Responsibility:

  • Provide hands-on care and guidance to young people in a safe and supportive home environment where young people can grow, learn and thrive
  • Help create and follow individual care plans tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals
  • Support young people with daily living activities and support their understanding of self-care, education and recreational activities
  • Build trusting relationships by offering encouragement, stability, safety and emotional support
  • Keeping accurate and professional records and documentation

Requirements:

  • A current driver’s licence (Minimum of a P2)
  • A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be eligible to obtain these)
  • Have completed, or are willing to enrol in, a Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field

Nice to have:

Experience with young people or in related areas (disability, mental health, aged care, childcare)
