Job Description:

Working with young people aged 8-17 in looked-after care in a forward-thinking therapeutic home in Swansea. The environment is trauma-informed and deeply committed to the physical and emotional wellbeing of both staff and residents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the day-to-day rhythm of the home from meal prep and activities to helping with transport and school runs
  • Provide stability as a consistent, safe adult
  • Deliver care aligned with bespoke individual plans, including medication administration and progress reporting
  • Support young people with diverse needs, including ASD and sensory disabilities

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in children's residential, social work, or assisted living
  • Solid grip on child development, safeguarding, and care regulations
  • Resilience, compassion, and a 'can-do' attitude

Nice to have:

  • Level 2 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience in Positive Behaviour Management (PBM)
