Residential Care Officer

• Conduct assessments of client needs and contribute to the development of individualised care and support plans that reflect NDIS objectives and personal preferences
• Deliver personal care and daily living assistance, including support with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and household tasks, to promote wellbeing and independence
• Support clients in accessing healthcare services, community participation opportunities, and structured social programs to encourage inclusion and personal development
• Apply behavioural and emotional support strategies, providing appropriate responses in situations involving mental health challenges or crisis intervention
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, case notes, and progress reports in line with organisational policies and NDIS quality and safeguarding standards
• Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and community service providers to ensure coordinated and holistic service delivery
• Contribute to the orientation, training, and guidance of new staff, promoting safe practices and a consistent, person-centred approach to care

• Relevant qualification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care principles and quality service standards
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, and adaptability to diverse needs
