Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Aged Care Manager to serve as the 'head of the home' for our vibrant community in Kogarah. In this pivotal leadership role, you will report directly to the Regional Manager and take the reins of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care. Your primary mission is to foster a warm, supportive, and high-quality environment for our residents, their families, and our hardworking staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Resident & Staff Advocacy: Finding the best way forward for our residents and our people
  • Operational Excellence: Running a 'tight ship' by maintaining high standards of efficiency and operational safety
  • Financial Stewardship: Ensuring the home remains viable by meeting revenue targets and managing the budget effectively
  • Team Leadership: Inspiring your team to perform at their peak and supporting their professional growth
  • Community Engagement: Building and maintaining strong ties with the local community to benefit the home and its residents

Requirements:

  • A genuine, deep-seated desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a management-level role
  • A solid professional background in aged care or medical services
  • Proficiency in navigating and working with various digital management systems
  • Shortlisted applicants must pass background checks and provide evidence of a current influenza vaccination
  • Registered nurse
  • Facility Manager exp at least 5 years
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Bachelor Degree
