Job Description:

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting residents’ wellbeing, independence and day-to-day safety within a peaceful residential setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Acting as a reassuring and visible presence on site
  • Supporting the welfare, safety and independence of residents
  • Carrying out daily site checks and ensuring the environment remains clean, safe and secure
  • Coordinating and liaising with contractors and maintenance services
  • Logging repairs and monitoring completion of work
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to residents and the property
  • Communicating regularly with residents, families and professionals where required
  • Monitoring site security including gates and CCTV
  • Supporting health & safety checks across the site

Requirements:

  • Experience working directly with people (care, support, housing or wellbeing sectors)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A compassionate and patient approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Basic IT, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Confidence dealing calmly with sensitive or challenging situations

Nice to have:

  • Background in social care, health or wellbeing
  • Basic First Aid knowledge
