Job Description

We're currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Resident Support Workers to join a dedicated supported housing service that provides accommodation and tailored support to adults experiencing homelessness and those with complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to live independently.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing person-centred support to residents
  • Encouraging independent living skills and personal development
  • Supporting residents with daily living tasks where required
  • Building positive, professional relationships
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports
  • Promoting a safe, welcoming and supportive environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies

Requirements

  • Experience working within homelessness, supported housing, mental health or complex needs services is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, resilient and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work a rota including evenings and sleep-ins
