For our client – worldwide leader in innovative IT and networking technologies – we are currently looking for a Resident Security Engineer.

Job Responsibility

  • Support for managing configuration and software changes
  • Request change approvals
  • Preparation of changes with different stakeholders
  • Execution of the change including previous and subsequent checks
  • Problem Management Support
  • Technical support for incidents
  • Problem solving
  • Troubleshooting
  • Webex meeting attendance with TAC/Business Units
  • Preparing and running tests for new features, configurations, software versions, etc.
  • Support for automation activities
  • Support in equipment renovations, installation, decommission, etc.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years performing first-level operator/support tasks in corporate SOCs
  • Knowledge of Cisco security products and solutions
  • English B2
  • Spanish – fluent
  • Technical knowledge in Cisco DUO, ESA, Firepower, Multicloud Defense, CSW and WSA solutions
  • Incident management systems
  • Basic understanding of the OSI model
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems
  • Problem management and resolution
  • Systems administration
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Systems or Telecommunications
