Requirements

5-year+ experience providing implementation and technical support of networking products (routers and switches) in WAN and LAN environments
A detailed understanding of the protocols surrounding IP service provider networks
TCP/IP fundamentals IP sub-netting and super-netting and hierarchical routing principles
Routing protocol operation (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, RSVP, IPv6, Segment Routing and BGP)
Routing policies at BGP peering points VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, etc.)
Detailed technical experience in the installation and operation of switches and IP routers
Strong experience in troubleshooting complex issues both at the device-level and network-level, in a multi-vendor environment

Pro-actively evaluate and audit customer network configurations, alarms and event logs
Facilitate weekly operations calls with customer to discuss equipment and network problems, and to provide case status updates
Partner with other HPE Juniper Networks Resident Network Engineers to develop best practices guidelines
Test patches and fixes to operating software and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly in the live network
Assist with network inventory tracking and provide periodic reports to Service Management Staff
Assist the customer to develop Network Operating and Equipment Operating Procedures
