Job Description

Strategic business leader of rooms operations at Sheraton Grand Hangzhou Wetland Park Resort, responsible for Front Office, Retail/Gift Shops, Recreation/Fitness Center, Housekeeping and Security/Loss Prevention. Oversees development and implementation of departmental strategies, ensures brand service strategy execution, focuses on employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and financial performance optimization.

Job Responsibility

  • Functions as strategic business leader of rooms operations
  • Acts as General Manager in his/her absence
  • Oversees Front Office, Retail/Gift Shops, Recreation/Fitness Center, Housekeeping and Security/Loss Prevention
  • Develops and implements departmental strategies
  • Ensures implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives
  • Manages property operations and develops operational strategy
  • Leads operations teams and manages employee relations
  • Manages relationships with property stakeholders
  • Manages profitability and financial performance
  • Manages guest experience and ensures service quality

Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area

  • Oversee all aspects of people leadership, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, payroll, and employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with Residences policies, HOA agreements, operating procedures, and rules for both residents and staff
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper par levels and operational readiness
  • Obtain bids for repairs or replacements when required and manage costs within approved budgets
  • Ensure smooth coordination of owner move-ins, move-outs, deliveries, and vendor access
