We are looking for a Resident Engineer-Telecom Integration-Design for one of our clients with the following details: Start date: ASAP Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Work status: Single status The Network Design Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of utility network design, including: Expert Qualifications: Requires 10+ years of network experience (5+ in Critical Infrastructure), a relevant engineering degree, and expert-level certifications (e.g., CCNP, Juniper, or Nokia). Architecture & Deployment: Design and implement resilient utility networks (WAN/MAN/LAN) using advanced protocols like IP-MPLS/TE, MPLS-VPN Segment Routing, and OSPF/ISIS/BGP to support critical power infrastructure. Infrastructure Support: Manage the integration of mission-critical systems, including SCADA, Substation Automation, and Distribution Management Systems (DMS). Technical Standardization: Evaluate hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and establish engineering standards for network installation and operation across the utility’s footprint. Documentation & Compliance: Develop high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), including IP schemes, Bills of Materials (BOM), and detailed test plans. Mandatory Requirement: Valid UAE Driving License.
