Job Description:

Resident Engineer role focused on managing onsite delivery, post-sales or service delivery support, installation and configuration for customer environments. Solves business systems, supports network operation and optimizes network reliability of Juniper based networking systems in Telco environment. Provides direct post-sales systems on site technical support for reactive and proactive customers.

Job Responsibility:

Apply deep technical background to operate critical technology areas
Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create customer solutions
Mentor/consult with team members, customers, and vendors
Act as consultant in service delivery business
Resolve technical and business incidents
Deliver strategic account support
Develop and grow customer account relationships
Act as trusted advisor for customer and sales teams
Design and deliver support solutions
Create and deliver Value Based Delivery account plans
Lead Customer Expectation management
Provide inputs to operational methods and programs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder (technical field)
6-8 years working experience in related fields
In-depth knowledge of company and industry standard networked computing environments, operating systems, and applications
In-depth knowledge of implementation and technical support of networking products in LAN, WAN, or Internet services environments
Detailed technical experience in installation and operation of IP Routers Switches and Firewalls
Hands-on operation of management tools and network analyzers
TCP/IP fundamentals
IP subnetting and supernetting and hierarchical routing principles
Routing protocol operation (OSPF and BGP)
Routing policies at BGP peering points
VPNs and associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, etc.)
Switching, spanning tree and other switching technology
Firewalls and associated technologies
JunOs
Juniper Certifications Professional level or higher is a plus
Mission Critical and ITIL certifications
