The Resident Chaplain provides direct spiritual care to patients, families and staff. Works with Manager, Spiritual Care and Education to support various programs of spiritual care offered by Spiritual Care Services. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.

Requirements:
Completion of 1 unit (400 hours) of ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education
Completed ACPE Application and essays to be submitted to CPEAdmissions@chla.usc.edu
Graduate degree from theological or rabbinical school
Completion of Master’s degree in Theology/Divinity/Religious Studies
Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification
